The Olympics are coming to town!
This is the view of the olympic stadium from the lovely John Lewis department store in Westfield Stratford. Its all quiet at the moment but this time next week its going to be crazy busy. It's quite exciting !!

I heart Zeena
I Visited this beautiful pop-up shop in Hampstead, London. Created by the very talented designer Zeena Shah. It's full of birds called Fred and owls named Clive! Well worth a look!!!

Favignana
I went to Italy last week. It was so beautiful! I loved almost every second. I went to Favignana which is a small island off of Sicily. It was so nice, everyone was really lovely and helpful. The food was sooooo good! I lived on pizza, pasta and ice cream, it was amazing!!
There was a castle at the top of a hill. I walked to the top and it was the steepest hill I have ever walked up! Then when I reached the castle I couldn't decide if it was more like a scene from Indiana Jones or the Orphanage!! All I know is it was very creepy!!!
But it was a gorgeous place and I would definitely consider visiting again!!

off to the ball we go!
I visited the Victoria and Albert Museum in London today. They have recently opened there newly refurbished Fashion gallery with a beautiful exhibition on ballgowns. There are some stunning dresses not only from the 50's and 60's but contemporary examples as well, all using a range of techniques from embroidery to printed latex. It's really interesting seeing how all though the fashions may change with each decade the extravagance and beauty of each gown still remains. Oh how i wish to go to a ball!
